JI-Line // Japanese-toothed, Induction hardened- The precise ones A distinguishing feature of saw blades with Japanese saw tooth geometry (or Japanese toothing) is that they leave a particularly clean cutting edge. This makes them particularly well suited for cuts in highly visible locations such as cutting parquet, laminate and skirting boards, etc. However, care should be taken to avoid cutting through screws, nails and similar hard materials with these blades. This type of blade is also not particularly well suited to make plunge cuts into the material.
SI-Line // Universal-toothed, Induction hardened - The allrounder for soft materials Whether it is the shortening of electrical pipes already installed in conduit boxes, cutting out the various recesses or even shortening of aluminium tubes, the blades of the UI line handle all these applications with ease. In addition, due to their particular toothing these blades also produce excellent results when cutting plastics and PVC. Their versatile applications make them the true all-rounders of our saw blades. It is only for hard materials such as steel and nails that they are not suitable; for this purpose we recommend the UB line.
UI-Line // Universal-toothed, Induction hardened - The allrounder for soft materials Whether it is the shortening of electrical pipes already installed in conduit boxes, cutting out the various recesses or even shortening of aluminium tubes, the blades of the UI line handle all these applications with ease. In addition, due to their particular toothing these blades also produce excellent results when cutting plastics and PVC. SI-Line // Symmetrical point-toothed, Induction hardened- The long ones with the high cutting speed The selected 032 and 042 saw blade forms make these blades particularly suitable for plunge-cutting into the material. The relatively coarse toothing prevents the teeth from clogging when cutting laminated wood (plywood), making it a lot more comfortable when working with these kinds of materials. Due to the large plunge depth of 77 mm, it is also possible to make mortise and tenon joints with these blades. To cut metal and nails, we recommend the UB line since the SI line is not designed for this application.
