UB-Line // Universal-toothed, Bi-Metallic - The rugged all-rounder for all materials Due to the bi-metal toothing, which strongly resembles a hacksaw, these blades are particularly suitable for cutting nails, sheet metal and steel up to 2 mm thickness. Of course, it is also possible to cut wood and plastics with these blades. The bi-metal toothing gives these blades a very long service life. Provided that not too much force is used and the cut is made with reduced motor speed, as these factors significantly affect the blade life. The service life can be further increased through the use of cutting agents.
JI-Line // Japanese-toothed, Induction hardened- The precise ones A distinguishing feature of saw blades with Japanese saw tooth geometry (or Japanese toothing) is that they leave a particularly clean cutting edge. This makes them particularly well suited for cuts in highly visible locations such as cutting parquet, laminate and skirting boards, etc. However, care should be taken to avoid cutting through screws, nails and similar hard materials with these blades. This type of blade is also not particularly well suited to make plunge cuts into the material.
